Lawrence of Rome: Scene, Martyrdom -- Lawrence of Rome, nimbed, wearing loin cloth, is bound to gridiron over fire. Above him are three tormentors, one wearing hat, holds bellows, another, holds stick, and third, with cloth around head, holds bellows. Scene in room with five windows.
Margins are decorated with floreate border, including oak leaves, acorns, roses, and strawberries. They are inhabited by man, wearing hat, holding spear with animal carcass, beside dog, wearing collar; man, wearing hat, holding spear in left hand and blowing on trumpet, beside dog wearing collar; and man, wearing hat, holding spear with animal carcass, beside dog, wearing collar, and man, touching net.
