Virgin Mary, nimbed and crowned, holding Christ Child, crossed rays as nimbus, holding object in right hand, is seated on throne with canopy, her feet on cushion. Six angels with hands joined, behind wall, flank the throne.
Margins decorated with border of floreate and foliate ornament and inhabited by hybrid man wearing jester's hood and fantastic animal flanking heraldic shield (azure, a saltire engrailed, or); another fantastic animal. Second heraldic shield (gules, a bend argent, charged with three stars of five points sable between two lions passant, or) in lower margin.
