Miniature:
David: rebuked by Nathan -- Seated on throne with canopy, David, crowned, wearing robe with ermine collar, holds harp with right hand and gestures with left hand toward Nathan, nimbed, standing before David, gesturing toward the harp with left hand and raising right hand.
Margins:
1) David: sending Uriah to Joab -- David, nimbed and crowned, wearing robe with ermine collar, seated on throne with canopy, his feet on cushion, with right hand extends message to right hand of Uriah, wearing helmet and armor, holding spear with left hand, kneeling on one knee. Another man stands behind curtain of throne.
2) David and Bathsheba: Bathsheba bathing -- Half-figure of David, in window of castle, looks toward Bathsheba sitting with her legs exposed and her feet in small pool.
3) Uriah the Hittite: Death -- Uriah, wearing gold helmet and armor, holding end of broken lance in right hand, astride bleeding, falling, bridled horse, is stabbed with lance by horseman behind him. Uriah looks back over his shoulder, up toward David in miniature above. In background are two groups of soldiers, some with spears, two holding swords.
