Christ: Crucifixion -- Christ, rays as nimbus, with crown of thorns, head inclined, eyes open, wearing short loincloth, bleeding from wounds in hands and feet (side wound not visible) is affixed to cross with three nails. He is flanked by Virgin Mary, wearing wimpled headdress, raising right hand toward Him, and by Evangelist John with arms crossed on breast. Both have rays as nimbus. Scene in landscape with hills, trees, stream and city in background.
Margins decorated with floreate ornament, including strawberry and viola, and inhabited by one rabbit. In lower margin, monogram of initials A and P linked by love knot. Text, Suffrages.
