Initial I decorated with interlace and foliage flanked above by two animals, and with foliate tendrils entwined with fantastic animal with tail of foliate tendrils below. Beginning of Psalm 043 (Vulg., 042).
Line ending: bird before fox, with open jaws, lying on its back (Bestiary: Fox feigning Death).
Line ending: nude man, in jaws of fantastic animal, armed with sword and shield (buckler), encountering hybrid man, indicating hindquarters with right hand, and looking back (Scene, Obscaena).
Line ending: hybrid man, crowned, with two bodies.
Line endings: geometric and foliate ornament.
