Initial N decorated with diapered infilling, fantastic animal, and foliate terminals above which male musician, playing pipe and tabor, sits with feet crossed. Beginning of Canticle of Simeon.
Initial G decorated with diapered infilling and formed by fantastic animal. Beginning of Collect.
Initial O decorated with diapered infilling, beside two fantastic animals with tails intertwined, one with forming scrolling foliate tendrils, one enclosing man drinking with right hand raising cup to lips and holding pitcher in left hand, seated on bench, and another tendril entwined with fantastic animal, in lower margin. Beginning of Collect to All Saints.
Line ending: two escutcheons, one argent, a fretty gules, and the other gules, a bordure argent.
Line ending: heraldic escutcheon of Boisleux, beside two men combatting with swords and shields.
Line endings: geometric and foliate ornament.
