Christ: Crucifixion -- Christ, cross-nimbed, wearing crown of thorns and short loin cloth, bleeding from wounds, is affixed with three nails to cross with titulus inscribed INRI. At base of cross is skull, upon which blood runs. Flanking the cross are Virgin Mary, veiled, and Evangelist John, with joined hands raised, both nimbed. Miniature enclosed in frame of acanthus leaves.
Margins with four small gatherings of floreate ornament.
