Christ (of Sorrows ?), with rayed nimbus, wearing short loin cloth, with wounds in hands, feet, and side, stands with left hand on tau cross as blood pours from His side into chalice. Around Him are Instruments of the Passion, inlcuding ladder, nails, spear, pincers, sponge on reed, torch, hammer, basin and pitcher, and sarcophagus.
Text and miniature enclosed in classicizing architectural frame.
