David, nimbed and crowned, holding right hand to eye, within initial D.
In upper margin, half-figure of prophet holding scroll with illegible inscription; in lower margin deer enclosed in medallion. Margins decorated with floreate ornament and gold balls; medallions linked by red band decorated with gold vine scroll.
Pen-flourished initials.
