Roman de la Rose: Hate -- Old woman, representing Personification of Hate, inscribed HAINE on label, wearing veiled headdress, raises right hand and touches breast with left hand.
Roman de la Rose: Felony -- Woman, representing Personification of Felony, inscribed FELONNIE on label, head wrapped with veil, wears breastplate of armor on right side and long dress with knotted sash on left side of body, with armored right arm extending flaming torch and with left hand raising sword; bust of lion at her feet.Miniature within architectual frame with decorative scrollwork, with dolphin-like ornament at top, and portrait medallions of two women and man, wearing cap, affixed to the frame at center left, right and lower right.
