Medusa, Euriale, and Sthenno (Gorgons), wearing headdresses, with snakes as hair, hold flower, mirror, and comb. Behind them are piles of stones with men's heads. Scene in landscape setting, above which is inscription, LES GORGONNES.
Surrounding miniature is architectural frame, on top of which are two putti, holding garland. At bottom of frame, is garland and vase.
