Virgin Mary: Annunciation -- Archangel Gabriel, wearing cope, holding scroll in left hand inscribed AUE GRATIA PLENA DOMINUS TECUM (Luke 01:28), kneels on left knee before Virgin Mary, nimbed, kneeling with arms crossed on her breast before draped prie-dieu with open book with pseudo inscription and vase with lily. Canopy above her. Dove of Holy Ghost descends on rays toward her from God, nimbed, with both hands raised, in window at top left. Scene in room with tile floor, column, and leaded-glass windows.
Margins with floreate and scroll ornament, inhabited by nude man, wearing pointed hat, holding whirligig in right hand, on back of winged fantastic animal, in right margin; and in lower margin, hooded man, holding club in left hand, seated astride fantastic animal with webbed feet.
