Virgin Mary: Annunciation -- Archangel Gabriel, holding scepter in left hand, with right hand raised, beside scroll inscribed [A]VE GRACIA PLENA D..., kneels on one knee before Virgin Mary, nimbed, with right hand raised, kneeling at draped prie-dieu with book with pseudo-inscription held open with her left hand. Between Gabriel and the Virgin is vase with lilies. In background is canopy and circular bookcase (?) with two books, each with two clasps. At top left is God, in gold arc of heaven, with right hand raised in blessing, emitting rays upon which dove of Holy Ghost descends toward Virgin Mary. Scene framed by carved arches and columns suggesting interior of building.
Initial D inhabited by dragon.
Margins with floreate and vinescroll ornament, inhabited by peacock and bird.
