Christ: Betrayal and Arrest and Apostle, Peter: cutting off Ear of Malchus -- Christ, nimbed, raising right hand, is embraced and kissed by Judas, nimbed. They are flanked by Apostle, nimbed, soldier holding rope and by man carrying torch. In foreground, Peter, nimbed, raises saber with right hand, and with left hand pins Malchus to the ground. Malchus, wearing armor, raises both hands; lantern is next to his head on ground.

Miniature enclosed in architectural frame decorated with sculptural ornament in cama³aeu including: head among foliage in upper margin; three putti around each column flanking miniature, outermost putto on left holding floreate garland; half figures of nude females among vine scrolls, in lower margin.
