1) Christ: Circumcision -- In initial D decorated with foliate and geometric ornament and diapered spandrels, veiled woman stands behind Virgin Mary, nimbed, veiled, holding nude Christ Child, cross-nimbed, lying on draped altar, with hands raised, being circumcised with knife by Mohel.
2) Margins - Rectilinear bars decorated with interlace and foliage, enclosing five heraldic escutcheons, including Moreuil (two), Count of Soissons (one), and Count of Grandpr³b (one), and inhabited by four birds, three hybrid animals, hybrid bird, and horned hybrid man wearing dunce hat.
