Miniature:
Christ: anointed by Woman -- Within room, woman (Mary Magdalen), on knees, washes feet of Christ, rayed cross as nimbus, seated at table with cups, loaves and platter, beside Simon the Pharisee.
To left, several apostles, all nimbed, stand in corner of room.
Margins:
Below miniature, historiated border frames text.
Mary Magdalen: Miracle of Sainte-Baume -- Mary Magdalen, nimbed, hair covering body, appearing amid rays of light, is borne aloft by four angels.
Below, hermit kneels on one knee, glancing upward, hands raised. Behind him is hermit's cell.
