Christ: Flight into Egypt, Fall of Idols -- Virgin Mary, nimbed, veiled, seated sideways on ass, holds in her lap toddler Christ Child, nimbed, holding reins of ass in left hand. Beside the ass walks Joseph the Carpenter, nimbed, wearing hat, holding staff in left hand and bundle on right shoulder. In background, broken idol falls from column.
Miniature enclosed in architectural frame.
Margins with floreate ornament. In lower margin are two figures, both wearing hoods, emerging from flowers, including one playing pipe.
