Amandus of Maestricht: baptizing Sigebertus -- Within center of architectural setting, cleric extends hands towards infant Sigebertus, nude, held above font by second cleric, behind whom stands woman in secular dress. Amandus, nimbed, wearing bishop's vestments and miter, pours water from right hand over head of Sigebertus. Third cleric, holding crozier, stands behind Amandus.
Patterned hanging decorated with fleur-de-lis hangs behind figures.
Central figures are surrounded by several clerics, including some holding fur almices, Dagobert I, crowned, holding scepter in left hand, wearing robe decorated with fleur-de-lis, and acolytes. Cleric, wearing vestments, carries processional cross.
