Miniature, upper: Livres des Merveilles du Monde: Scene, Sri Lanka -- Crenellated buildings with pointed roofs surmounted by banners surrounded by hilly landscape of tree, river, bushes and fields. Initial T of Trapo decorated with foliate ornament. Miniature for Livre de Merveilles du Monde for Sri Lanka. Miniature, lower: Livres des Merveilles du Monde: Scene, Tuscany -- To left, five pots of incense issue smoke surrounding coffin on supports, to right, two men, wearing hats, sit beside third figure, wearing hood, possibly mourner, possibly two other mourners (women?) in background. Scene in room with pilasters and arched portal with closed door. Outside building, two men, one wearing drawers are submerged in water, shore of trees and hills.
