Group of martyrs, all nimbed, most with only nimbuses visible, includes Stephen Protomartyr, with rock on head, bleeding from wound, holding stone in right hand and book in left hand; Peter Martyr, with scimitar in head, bleeding from wound, with knife in breast, holding book in left hand; and Louis IX of France, wearing crown and armor, over which is cloak decorated with fleur-de-lis, and holding shield and spear. Group also includes deacon and two bishops.
Margins decorated with floreate border.
