Christ: Betrayal and Arrest and Apostle, Peter: cutting off Ear of Malchus -- Christ, with crossed rays as nimbus, holding bleeding, severed ear of Malchus, is embraced by Judas. Beside Christ stands Apostle Peter, nimbed, with sword raised in right hand above Malchus, bleeding, holding lantern, on ground. In background are helmeted soldiers with spears and a torch. Miniature framed by columns.
