Jeremiah: weeping over Jerusalem -- Jeremiah, nimbed, resting head on left hand, is seated on cushioned bench. Man with right hand to face stands at right.
Scene within initial O decorated with foliate ornament and with foliate.
Beginning of Lamentations.
Left margin:
Gold balls, and vine decorated with balls and foliate ornament terminating with bird.
Center margin:
Gold balls, and vine decorated with balls and foliate ornament inhabited by hybrid animal possibly holding shield and terminating in foliate medallion enclosing fish.
