Within initial G, group of saints, nimbed, including Jerome, wearing cardinal's hat and vestments, holding book with both hands; Cornelius, Pope, wearing triple-crowned tiara and gloves, holding processional cross with right hand and horn with left hand; bishop, wearing miter, raising right hand in blessing, holding crozier with left hand; saint, possibly Apostle Paul, holding book with right hand, raising left hand; monk, possibly Anthony of Padua, tonsured, wearing habit of Franciscan with knotted cincture, holding book with both hands; woman, veiled; Francis of Assisi, tonsured, showing wounds in hands; others only partially visible.
Red background decorated with gold scroll.
