Beginning of I Corinthians.
Apostle, Paul: preaching -- Paul, nimbed, raising right hand in blessing, holds book in left hand. He faces group of five men, seated, one with left hand raised and one with right hand raised. Above is hand of God in gesture of blessing. Scene in decorated initial P.
In margin is Paul, nimbed, raising right forefinger and holding in left hand scroll with pseudo-inscription. In front of him is pilgrim, holding book in left hand, and draped stick over left shoulder. Cross-inscribed purse at his waist. Deer in right margin.
