Daniel: in Lions’ Den -- Daniel, nimbed, with joined hands raised, stands in cave, two lions before him. All in initial A, partly composed of body of fantastic animal, head biting upright of initial, body terminating with foliate ornament. Beginning of Daniel. Pen flourished initial.
