Apollonia of Alexandria: Scene, Torture -- Apollonia, nimbed, her hands behind her back, is seated on bench, her hair held by man wearing hat, standing behind her. Another man, wearing hat, stands before her, holding pincers to her mouth, bleeding, with his left knee against her body. Seven men (?), most only hat visible, are at left, one of the two foremost, gesturing with left hand toward Apollonia.
