Beginning of II Corinthians.
In decorated initial P, Apostle Paul, nimbed, sits in chair at desk, writing in open book. Above him is nimbed angel, as half figure, emerging from cloudy arc of heaven. At right is figure, holding spear in right hand.
Apostle, Paul: let down in Basket -- In descender of decorated initial P is man on tower lowering Paul in basket.
In margin is decorative border inhabited by two birds.
