Back-turned bust of man, crowned, within initial C. Decoration of foliate ornament, gold balls. In upper margin, recumbent bishop, wearing miter, hands extended to foliage near gutter (not visible). Pen-flourished initials. Text is first lesson of first nocturn for Matins on Tuesday following second Sunday of Epiphany season.
