Miniature:
Christ: Flagellation -- Within room, Christ, cross-nimbed with fleur-de-lis points, wearing short loin cloth, body covered with sores, is surrounded by four tormentors, including two with scourges, and one with switches. The fourth tormentor, kneeling on one knee, ties rope binding His feet. Scourge lies on ground beside him.
Text and miniature framed by foliate border decorated with flowers and inhabited by two birds and hybrid animal. In lower border, two knights joust.
