Psalm 031 (Vulg., 030) -- Group of soldiers, wearing armor, flee at left of scene. The foremost soldier, possibly Saul, stands beside soldier carrying spear. Other soldiers carry spears and one carries banner. At right is figure, possibly David, wearing helmet, holding shield in left hand and raising scimitar in right hand. Behind him is second group of soldiers, wearing helmets, most with only tops of heads visible, many holding spears.
Ground in strewn with broken spears, swords, scimitar, helmets, legs, and decapitated body.
Margin is decorated with foliate border, including daisies and thistles, inhabited by bird.
