1) Virgin Mary: Annunciation -- In initial O decorated with geometric ornament and foliate spandrels, Archangel Gabriel, nimbed, with a scroll in left hand, stands raising right hand toward the veiled Virgin Mary, nimbed, standing with her right hand raised and book in her left hand.
2) Apostles Peter and Paul -- In initial D decorated with foliate and geometric ornament and foliate spandrels, Apostle Peter, nimbed, tonsured, holds two keys in his right hand and extends a book in his left hand toward Apostle Paul holding handle of sword in his right hand and raising his left hand toward Peter; both face each other.
3) Margins - Rectilinear bars decorated with interlace and foliage, and inhabited by three birds, two hybrid men wearing hats, a hybrid monkey forming part of the top bar and grasping hair of a man with his mouth open, wearing a mantle and trousers and holding his right leg entwined around the foliate stem, a rabbit, a hybrid, and an ass with a hammer and shield, battling a bear with an axe and a shield.
