Bust of man enclosed in initial S. Man, nimbed (?), hands raised, standing on pillow (?) in center margin next to the initial. Center margin decorated with foliate ornament and gold balls. Pen-flourished initials. Text is first lesson of first nocturn, for Matins on Wednesday following second Sunday of Epiphany Season.
