Christopher of Lycia: carrying Christ Child -- Christopher of Lycia, nimbed, wading in water to knees, with both hands holding branch as staff, and supporting Christ Child on shoulders, cross-nimbed, with right hand raised in blessing and with left hand holding cross-surmounted tripartite globe. On left shore, hooded hermit with lantern. Margins decorated with border of strewn flowers including pea, lily, and forget-me-not and inhabited by moth. Miniature at beginning of prayer to Christopher of Lycia.
