Miniature:
Christ: Crucifixion, nailed to Cross -- Two men with hammers nail to cross Christ, cross-nimbed with fleur-de-lis points, wearing short loin cloth. Third man binds feet to cross with rope. Pilate and group of figures look on. To left, crowd of soldiers look on.
Text and miniature framed by foliate border decorated with flowers and inhabited by bird, hybrid animal with snail's body, and hybrid bird. In lower border, two nude men, riding stick horses, joust with spin-wheels.
