Head of man enclosed in initial Q. Left margin decorated with foliate ornament, geometric ornament and gold balls. In lower margin, man, prone, resting head on crossed arms. Pen flourished initials. Text is first lesson of first nocturn, for Matins on Thursday following second Sunday after Epiphany.
