Christ: Betrayal and Arrest -- Christ, with crossed rays as nimbus, is embraced by Judas. Behind them is group of helmeted soldiers, armed with spears and one holding torch. To left is apostle Peter, nimbed, tonsured, drawing sword from sheath. Malchus, wearing helmet and armor, kneels on ground before Christ. In background is wattle fence and gate. In foreground is plank across stream.
Floreate margins with bird, portcullis (emblem of Henry VII ?), and four vignettes (clockwise from top right):
1) Christ: in Gethsemane -- Christ kneels with joined hands raised before chalice on hillock. In foreground are Peter, tonsured, James, and John, all nimbed, reclining on ground with eyes closed.
2) Christ: mocked -- Two tormentors, with raised hands, flank Christ, with crossed rays as nimbus, wearing purple, seated with bound hands and covered face.
3) Christ: Flagellation -- Christ, wearing crown of thorns and short loin cloth, bound to column, is flanked by two tormetors with switches and scourges in raised hands.
4) Christ: Ecce Homo -- Man stands behind Christ, wearing short loin cloth, with hands bound, on balcony above group of people, wearing hats, standing below.
