Trinity: Mercy Seat -- God, nimbed, wearing triple crown papal tiara, seated on canopied throne, holds in both hands Christ, nimbed, wearing fillet (?) and short loin cloth, affixed to cross with three nails. Above head of Christ is dove of Holy Ghost, nimbed. To right kneels donor, as young man, with joined hands raised.
Margins with floreate ornament. In lower margin is escutcheon with arms of Bethune (argent a fess gules), surmounted by a crown.
