Two scenes within miniature:
1) Longinus the Soldier: Torture -- Governor of Cappadocia, wearing pointed hat, standing next to another man, points with right hand to Longinus the Soldier, nimbed, kneeling, raising joined hands. Tormentor, wearing turban, carrying scimitar in belt, cuts tongue from his mouth with knife.
2) Longinus the Soldier: Torture and Martyrdom --To right, executioner (previously tormentor) raises scimitar above head of Longinus the Soldier (represented twice), kneeling, back turned.
