Miniature:
Christ: Deposition -- With left arm draped over arm of cross with titulus INRI, Joseph of Arimathea grasps underarm of Christ, wearing short loin cloth, bleeding from wounds, and lowers Him into arms of male figure. Mary Magdalen, kneeling on one knee, grasps His left hand with her right hand. Opposite, Nicodemus removes nail from His feet with pincers. To left, Virgin Mary, veiled, standing in front of three figures, possibly Holy Women, inclines head to left and raises joined hands to breast. In background is landscape with buildings.
Text and miniature framed by foliate border decorated with flowers, strawberries, and grape vine and inhabited by bird and nude man chasing butterfly. In lower border, two men hunt deer pursued by two dogs.
