Magi: beholding Star -- In upper left column, of three Magi, crowned, holding covered vessel with right hand, one gestures with left hand and another shades eyes with raised left hand. Star is above right.
Christ: Circumcision -- In lower left column, maidservant, holding candle with left hand, stands behind Virgin Mary, nimbed and veiled, holding nude Christ Child, cross as nimbus on trestle table. Mohel, wearing headgear, holds knife to His penis with right hand and bowl containing blood with left hand. Mohel is flanked by two men wearing hats.
