Daniel: in Lions' Den and Habakkuk: carried by Angel -- Below, Daniel embraces with right arm one of lions surrounding him; he looks up and gestures toward Habakkuk holding basket with right hand and cask with left hand. Dividing the two scenes is large wing (angel?) with animal leg and foot with claws.
Scene within initial A decorated with foliate ornament and with foliate extender.
Margin:
Gold balls, and vine decorated with balls and foliate ornament terminating in foliate medallion enclosing animal head at top and foliage at bottom.
