Christ, crossed nimbus, raising right hand in blessing, holding with left hand, open book with pseudo-inscription, facing out, is flanked by eleven apostles, all nimbed, including apostle holding scimitar; evangelist John, raising right hand in blessing over chalice held in right hand, from which dragon (?) emerges; Peter, holding book with right hand and key with left hand; Paul, holding sword with right hand and book with left hand; Andrew holding saltire cross; and probably Bartholomew holding knife.
Red background decorated with gold scrollwork.
Margins decorated with border of floreate rinceaux, some emerging from ends of vertical bar in left margin.
Beginning of Introit for the Common of Saints, Vigil of one Apostle.
