Upper half: Christ: teaching in Synagogue -- At left, Christ, cross-nimbed, as half figure in pulpit, gesturing before group of seven men, two wearing Jew’s hat, three others wearing hats, one reading from open book, and possibly all seated on bench in temple. Judas: receiving Silver -- At right, Judas, extending cloak in hands to catch falling pieces of silver from right hand of man, wearing hat, with left hand holding purse, accompanied by six men, three wearing Jew’s hat, the others wearing draped headgear, the foremost two gesturing. Lower half: Christ: in Gethsemane -- At left, Christ, cross-nimbed, wearing long robe, with joined hands raised, kneeling and looking up toward half figure of wingless angel, nimbed, with right hand holding cross, emerging out of cloud. In foreground, three nimbed apostles, huddled on ground, eyes closed and hands propped to heads; all within garden of Gethsemane enclosed by wattled fence. Christ: Arrest attempted -- At right, Christ, cross-nimbed, wearing long robe, with both hands extended, accompanied by three nimbed apostles, all before five helmeted soldiers, one raising club and shield, another with shield, at least three with spears and one with halberd, another with hand on hilt of sword in belt.
