1) Initial U enclosing half figure of saint, nimbed, with left hand holding spear. Decorated initial of Canticle of Apostles. 2) Initial B enclosing half figure of tonsured monk, wearing monk’s habit. Decorated initial of Canticle of Martyrs. Margins decorated on three sides with scrolling floreate and foliate decoration inhabited by half figures of two prophets, one with right hand holding scroll inscribed UOS SANCTI DOMINO (?), and the other with left hand holding inscribed scroll (largely illegible) (left).
