Jesse: Tree -- Within decorated initial L, Jesse, crowned, reclines on draped bed below drawn curtain and lamp.
Beside him, within ascender of initial L, four ancestors of Christ, crowned, and Christ, cross-nimbed, appear in intertwining branches of foliate ornament. Christ, seated on bench, raises right hand in blessing and holds book in left hand.
Figures on alternating gold and patterned backgrounds within initial L. Marginal extender from lower part of initial L terminates in head of animal, wearing hood.
