Month, Occupation: March -- Man, wearing fur-lined garments, standing on pathway beside another man, converses with two laborers digging beds in garden with spades. Hedge and stone wall enclose garden.
Further up pathway, man on ladder ties vines to arbor. To right, man and woman converse on bridge entering castle surrounded by moat. Stork's nest surmounts chimney of castle. In fields beyond castle, two figures converse. Another figure plows field with plow.
