Month, Occupation: June -- Man wearing hat sits in foreground, sheep on his lap, shearing with right hand, holding back leg with left hand; fleece is on ground. At left, another man, wearing hat, emerging from doorway of small building, follows sheep; three other sheep, one black, stand backturned looking toward seven figures, including three youth, one figure lifting hat with right hand, the seventh sitting on barrel, raising jug (?) to mouth with right hand. All are before half-timbered house with thatched roof.
