Magi: Adoration -- Eldest Magus, crown on ground, extending covered vessel with both hands to extended right hand of nude Christ Child, crossed nimbus, seated on lap of, and held by, Virgin Mary, nimbed, seated on cushion. Two other Magi stand at left, one, black, wearing headdress surmounted by crown, holding scimitar with right hand and covered vessel with left hand. The other Magus, wearing hat surmounted by crown, holds covered vessel with draped right hand.
Scene in landscape with rolling hills and trees; large star in sky; Virgin sitting under fantastic shed, supported by one post, and with hole in roof.
Margins decorated with border of floreate ornament including dianthus, daisy, and strawberry and inhabited by hybrid man with body of quadruped with long neck.
