Magi: Adoration -- Youthful Magus, wearing hat with feather, holding another hat with crown in right hand and gold vessel in left hand, stands behind the other two Magi. One, wearing turban type of headgear with crown, touches headgear with left hand and with right hand extends covered gold chalice. The third Magus, with vair collar, kneels on one knee, his left hand removing cover of chalice held in right hand. Crown is on ground beside him. All look toward nude Christ Child, nimbed, standing, reaching with right hand to open chalice held by kneeling Magus. Virgin Mary, nimbed, holds Him on her lap. All beneath rays descending from top of frame.
Scene partially under roof of stable in landscape with trees and building in background.
Foliate initial D with floreate decoration. Margins decorated with border of floreate ornament.
