Christ: Bewailing -- Christ, nimbed, wearing short loincloth, bleeding from wounds, reclines on cloth on ground, the upper part of His body supported by Evangelist John, nimbed. Virgin Mary, veiled with wimple, with joined hands, Mary Magdalen, nimbed and veiled, holding ointment jar, and two Holy Women, nimbed and veiled all kneel beside Him. All but Christ wear grisaille garments. Cross is in background.
